The site is taking bookings now. They prefer this to be done through their website: http://www.nydie.co.uk. however, if this is not possible you can email enquiry@nydie.co.uk or phone 01334 850828 to make your booking.
There are no additional fees for cars or trailers. Please mention you are with the Scottish Austin Seven Club at time of booking so we all get put together.
Non-campers will find several B&B’s in Strathkinness and lots more a few miles down the road in St. Andrews.
Those of you who have been before will know there is a playground for the children and plenty of open space to run around. Windbreaks may be useful if you have room to carry them as the site is quite exposed.
Here is what we have planned for the weekend:
Arrive Friday with evening DIY BBQ followed by the usual merriment so bring your voices & instruments. If you don’t fancy cooking, the Strathkinness Tavern is ½ mile down the road and serves food until 9 pm.
Please make sure you fill up on the Friday for the Saturday run. There is a Shell fuel station on the west of St. Andrews or a large Morrisons with petrol station just to the south of St Andrews.
Saturday: Depart site at 09:30am sharp for run around Fife and with an Al fresco coffee stop (with loos) so bring your mugs and chairs and home baking to share is welcome. Lunch will be at the Staghead Inn.
Please choose from the following menu.
Afternoon Tea £5.00
Homemade Soup of the Day and Freshly Made Sandwiches £5.00
St Monan’s Fresh Haddock in Ale Batter, served with Mixed Leaf Salad and Chips £8.50

Sunday: Depart site at 10:30 and head for another Al Fresco coffee stop and you will need a packed lunch. We will return to the campsite to collect your trailers, campervans etc. early afternoon.
I haven’t quite planned the routes yet, but wanted to put the main information out so people can be thinking ahead.
Please let me know if you intend coming (contact details in March MP).
